WTS 2010
brings together
professionals and academics from companies, universities,
governmental agencies around the world to exchange information on
advances in mobile communications, wireless networking technology,
applications, management, and security. Past WTS participants have
included Dr. Irwin Jacobs, Chairman and Co-Founder of QUALCOMM; Mike
Lazaridis, Founder, President, and Co-CEO, Research In Motion; Dr.
Charles Elachi, Director, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory; and Dr.
Vinton Cerf and Dr. Leonard Kleinrock Internet pioneers.
The theme for WTS 2010 will be "Global Wireless Communications – The
Next Generation". Other planned highlights of WTS 2010 include
executive presentations and keynote addresses; presentations of
accepted academic and practitioner research papers; panel
discussions, including future directions in wireless communications
– industry, academia, and government perspectives, wireless
communications investments and new ventures, wireless services and
applications; tutorials and workshops; poster paper sessions, and
doctoral students’ session. Refereed proceedings will be published
by the IEEE and be available on its Xplore online publication
system. Some selected high quality papers from WTS 2010 will be
considered for publication in a special issue of the International
Journal of Interdisciplinary Telecommunications & Networking, IGI
Global publisher, pending their successful extension and an
expedited review process.
WTS 2010 organizing committee would like to invite the
submission of original papers, workshop and tutorial
proposals to the 9th Wireless Telecommunications Symposium
(WTS 2010) to be held on April 21-23, 2010,
at the Embassy Suites at USF/Busch Gardens, Tampa, Florida,
